Mobil SHC Pegasus™, advanced technology natural gas engine oil

Mobil SHC Pegasus™ is a new product in the advanced technology natural gas engine oil category. It is designed to provide the highest level of protection while offering the potential to reduce fuel consumption for today's high-power, low-emission four-stroke gas engines. Mobil SHC Pegasus is the latest addition to the technologically advanced Mobil Pegasus line of natural gas engine oils that deliver high performance, long service life and increased productivity.

Mobil SHC Pegasus is a combination of high quality base oils and advanced additive system technology used to provide extremely good oxidation stability, nitration resistance and thermal stability. As a result, it provides the opportunity to extend oil change intervals up to three times compared to conventional gas engine oils. Mobil SHC Pegasus' formula is carefully balanced to provide excellent anti-wear properties to protect valvetrain parts, pistons, cylinder liners, bearings and gear trains when operating under heavy loads. It is also designed to ensure compatibility with catalytic converter materials. The detergent and dispersant additive system minimizes oil consumption by keeping carbon deposits and lacquer formation under control, while ensuring that the engine remains clean even after long oil change intervals. Extended oil change intervals reduce operating and maintenance costs.
