Mobilmet™ Series Oils

Mobilmet 420 Series products are high performance, multi-purpose cutting oils. In addition to not containing chlorine, they have non-staining and non-corrosive properties. They are designed for light to medium duty cutting operations. It is also suitable for machine tool lubricating oils and light-duty hydraulic systems. These oils are formulated using high quality base oils and select additives to provide effective machining performance in a wide range of applications on both ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Thanks to its light-colored and transparent structure, the work area can always be clearly seen.

Mobilmet 420s are specially formulated to prevent the formation of oil mist around the machine tool. Mobilmet 420 Series fluids are resistant to foaming, even under extreme tightening, in machine tool lubrication systems. Thanks to its relatively low pour points and high viscosity indexes, it is easy to use in cold conditions. At the same time, they provide the necessary film strength in the bearings of machine tools operating under load at high temperatures.

Mobilmet™ 760 Series are extra high performance straight cutting oils and do not contain chlorine. They were developed to be used especially on hard tool steels for demanding cutting operations. However, these products are not recommended for copper and its alloys because they have an aggressive effect on soft yellow metals. Mobilmet 760 Series shows superior performance in terms of surface quality, extending tool life and controlling insert welding compared to other premium cutting oils. Thanks to their light colors, they allow the processed part to be seen clearly during the machine operation. Consistently tight machining tolerances can be achieved. These oils are formulated to prevent the formation of oil mist around machine tools, thus contributing to a safer and more comfortable working environment. Thanks to extensive development tests as well as extensive customer evaluations, Mobilmet 760 Series products are among the products preferred by many metal machining shops.
