Places of Use

*Mobilmet 420 Series fluids are recommended for a wide variety of machining operations on all types of metal. When machine tools require lubrication and hydraulic oil in the same place, they can be used as a multi-purpose common oil with the right viscosity selection.
*Mobilmet 423 and Mobilmet 424 are recommended for machining with aluminium, magnesium, copper, brass and bronze, as well as steel and cast iron with Brinell hardness up to 200. They are also used in demanding cutting operations of non-ferrous alloys that are difficult to machine, such as silicon-copper, silicon-bronze and copper-nickel alloys. These are oils that can be very effective for machine tool lubrication systems over a wide temperature range.
