Mobil Pegasus™ 1100 Series oils are the latest generation Mobil Pegasus series designed to provide the highest level of protection in today's high-efficiency, low-emission four-stroke gas engines, while also providing superior performance in older model engines.  Both Mobil Pegasus 1105 and Mobil Pegasus 1107 have exceptional oxidation stability and nitration resistance, TBN (Total Base Number) protection and thermal stability ensuring long oil life.  The formulations are balanced to provide long oil life, superior wear protection properties and control of carbon and lacquer formation.

Features

*Extraordinary detergent - dispersant system reduces oil consumption by controlling carbon, lacquer and sediment formations and maintains engine cleanliness even during long oil change intervals.
*Superior oxidation stability, nitration resistance and thermal stability extend oil life, reduce filter costs and provide resistance to sediment formation.
* Its unique anti-wear characteristic helps reduce wear on engine parts, reduces friction-related wear on the liners of high-load gas engines and provides break-in period protection.
Exceptional reserve alkalinity preserves engine performance and durability while extending oil change intervals.

GE Jenbacher, MAN, MTU and other turbocharged, naturally aspirated, medium-high speed four-stroke engines requiring high-performance oil
Lean-mix and stoichiometric four-stroke gas engines operating under high load, high temperature and high pressure conditions
*High speed four-stroke gas engines used in cogeneration applications
*Natural gas engines using catalytic converters
*Field collection operations where low H2S content dirty gas (sour gas) can be used as fuel.
