Mobil Pegasus™ 610

Mobil Pegasus™ 610 is a high-performance natural gas engine oil designed primarily for the lubrication of modern medium- and high-speed four-stroke engines operating on fuel containing corrosive substances such as hydrogen sulfide or halogens (compounds containing chlorine, fluorine, etc.). These engines generally have a lean-burn design, where sufficient oil is prevented from reaching the valve guide area due to high manifold pressure, resulting in low oil consumption, but resulting in faster valve guide and valve deterioration.

Features

*High TBN and reserve alkalinity feature
*Unique protection against wear and friction
*Excellent Oxidation and Chemical Stability
*Effective resistance to corrosion
*Unique Detergent / Dispersant Properties
*Formulation that does not contain Zinc and Phosphorus

Places of Use

•  Gas engines running on fuel containing moderate amounts of hydrogen sulfide (H2S)
• Engines running on fuels containing other corrosive substances such as TOHCI (Total Organic Halides as Chlorides)
• Four-stroke spark ignition gas engines with very low oil consumption
• Reciprocating compressors operating with natural gases containing sulfur or halogen
• High output or atmospheric engines operating at high temperatures at or above rated power
