The company was using a rival brand of hydraulic oil in the aluminum extrusion machine on its production line. Since the viscosity index and filterability performance of the existing oil were low, there were major problems in pressure losses and keeping the system clean.
Suggestion
The aluminum extrusion machine used in the company has high system cleanliness performance and filterability. DTE 10 Excel™ 46 It is recommended to switch to the product. The 9 micron filtration process used in the existing oil can now be done down to 3 microns, and equipment efficiency and oil change periods will be 3 times longer.
Use
Once our recommendations are implemented in the field, Mobile DTE Excel™ 46 Thanks to the switch to the product, the pollution problem in the system was minimized. In line with the analysis, the oil change period was increased threefold. Thanks to the high viscosity index, pressure losses have completely ended.
