Our cloth tapes contain 3M™ Ceramic Abrasive Mineral, which is brought to an angle to form sharp tips using electrostatic methods and acts as a separate cutting tool that cuts the metal in a short time. These spikes continually sharpen themselves as they break, extending life and improving consistency while requiring less pressure. That's why our belt products cut better and last longer than any conventional ceramic industrial abrasive product on the market. Fabric thread provides strength in medium to high pressure grinding applications. Our abrasive belts come in a variety of thicknesses and sizes to fit almost any industrial sander. Narrow belts are used in portable belt sanders for grinding or mixing jobs. Medium width belts are used for weld cleaning, material removal, sand release on stainless steel, on bench tops, while wide belts are used in wide belt sanders for sheet metal and coil work.
