Use 3M™ Cubitron™ II Hookit™ 775L Film Disc for a cut twice as fast and a disc that lasts six times longer than regular abrasives. Our discs feature a film backing that offers better tear resistance and edge retention than paper discs. These film discs contain 3M Precision Shaped Mineral, which forms a triangular point and cuts through the metal rather than gouging or driving through the metal, unlike traditional abrasives. These points continuously sharpen themselves as they break, providing an extremely fast cut. 3M offers a complete family of hook-and-loop Hookit discs for work areas where adhesive-backed discs may become contaminated with dust or dirt. Because Hookit discs tend to leave finer finishes than adhesive-backed discs, they are often used in applications where a 3M™ Stikit™ disc would be too aggressive. Hookit velcro sanders can be easily attached to velcro disc pads (sold separately). It is easily removed and can be reused for the entire life of the abrasive. For best results, use with 3M™ Elite Eccentric Circular Sander.
