Mobil Glygoyle™ Series oils are superior performance gear, bearing and compressor oils designed to provide outstanding benefits in efficiency, long oil life and equipment protection. These fully synthetic polyalkyleneglycol (PAG) oils were developed for use in operating conditions where other synthetic and mineral oils are inadequate. They provide excellent low temperature fluidity thanks to their low pour points. They are NSF H1 registered oils with viscosity classes from ISO 150 to ISO 1000 and comply with Title 21 CFR 178.3570 issued by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for oils that may come into incidental food contact.

Excellent Protection and Superior Performance

Mobil SHC™ Gear Series includes superior performance synthetic industrial gear oils that aim to provide excellent protection of gears and bearings, ensuring long oil life even under extreme operating conditions, ensuring trouble-free operation of equipment and increasing customer productivity. Scientifically designed, Mobil SHC Gear 1500, 3200 and 6800 synthetic oils are formulated from synthetic base oils with exceptional oxidation and heat resistance properties. The high viscosity indexes of these oils provide less change in viscosity due to temperature change, supporting effective operation over wider operating temperature ranges and better starting performance at low temperatures.

Mobil SHC Gear Series lubricants are designed to provide excellent protection against traditional types of wear while also containing an advanced proprietary additive system that offers high resistance to micropitting fatigue. In addition, they offer the potential for more effective lubrication of gearbox bearing housings compared to conventional gear oil structures. Compared to conventional products, Mobil SHC Gear Series products offer exceptional rust and corrosion protection, even in harsh conditions such as seawater pollution. Even fine filters are not prone to clogging in wet conditions and have excellent compatibility with ferrous and non-ferrous metals even at high temperatures.

Mobil SHC Gear Series also exhibits superior compatibility with elastomers in static sealing tests. It contains superior EP properties that provide durability even under high load conditions. The synthetic base oils used have inherently low internal friction properties that provide low fluid friction on incompatible surfaces such as gears and rolling element bearings. Low fluid friction means lower operating temperatures and better gear efficiency.
