Mobilube™ LS 85W-90

Mobilube LS 85W-90 is an extra high performance automotive gear oil formulated especially for limited slip differentials with special base oils and an advanced additive system. This oil is recommended by ExxonMobil for use in applications requiring API GL-5 performance such as heavy-duty differentials, axles and final drives where extreme pressure and shock loading are expected.

  • Limited slip differentials, axles and final drives requiring API GL-5 level performance
  •   Passenger vehicles, on-road light trucks and heavy-duty trucks, buses and minibuses
  •   Land applications such as construction, quarrying and agriculture
  • Other industrial and automotive applications involving hypoid and other types of gears operating under conditions dominated by high speed/shock loading, high speed/low torque and/or low speed/high torque conditions
  • Initial filling, top-up and refilling of closed automotive type gears for which SAE 85W-90 limited slip gear oils are recommended
  • Not suitable for transmissions where engine oil or automatic transmission oils are recommended.
