Mobilfluid 422 is a high-performance, multi-purpose tractor oil designed to meet or exceed transmission and hydraulic fluid requirements. This product is formulated to top up or refill the oil level used in transmissions, drive units, hydraulic systems and especially oil bath brake systems of tractors and other mobile equipment used in agriculture and industry. It is designed with special friction characteristics to prevent squealing and chattering noises in wet brake systems and to ensure stable braking performance. Mobilfluid 422 is a combination of high-performance base oils and an advanced additive system to provide the different lubricant performance properties required by heavy-duty gear transmissions and final drive units subject to heavy loads.

  •   Oil-bath, sintered bronze disc brakes
  •   Not used in passenger cars with automatic transmission
  •   Applications requiring oils rated API GL-4 or SAE 80, except for hypoid gear designs
