- Mobil 1 ESP 5W-30 is a low-ash (medium SAPS) engine oil that helps protect exhaust gas aftertreatment systems designed to limit engine emissions. It fully meets or exceeds the ACEA C3 industry standard and is suitable for the operation and protection of engines and aftertreatment systems of vehicles requiring ACEA C2. However, it only provides the fuel economy potential required by the C3 classification, not the C2 classification.
- Mobil 1 ESP 5W-30 meets or exceeds the requirements of the 'API SP' industry standard, therefore helping to solve the LSPI (Low Speed Pre-Ignition) problem, making it a preferred option for modern downsized direct injection turbocharged petrol engines
- Mobil 1 ESP 5W-30 is especially suitable for severe conditions where conventional oils cannot perform.
- Mobil 1 ESP 5W-30 is not recommended in 2-stroke engines or aviation-related engines unless specifically approved by the manufacturer.
