Spare Part Costs Reduced with Mobilith SHC 460!

With Mobilith SHC 460 used in Bombi brand drying oven fan bearings, significant savings were achieved in spare parts costs during its 1-year use.

A rival company's high temperature grease with a synthetic base oil structure was used in the drying oven fan bearings, which have an important place in the company's production line. 4 bearings numbered SKF 22217-C3 are used in the fan. The approximate price of the rival company's grease is 250 TL/Kg, greasing is done every 3 months and it causes failure in the fan bearings every 6 months. Each treatment takes approximately 8 hours.

In the joint study conducted with the customer company, a recommendation was made to switch to Mobilith SHC 460 grease, which provides high temperature performance and superior equipment protection, considering the load and temperature on the equipment.

By using Mobilith SHC 460 in the drying oven fan bearings in the production line of the enterprise, there was no downtime due to fan bearing failure during its 1-year use, and the enterprise achieved significant savings in annual spare parts costs and a 16-hour production gain.
