130% savings in oil consumption is now possible with Mobil Pegasus 705.

As a result of increasing the oil change intervals from 2,500 hours to 5,800 hours in the Mobil Pegasus 705 and MWM 1.6 MW natural gas engine, approximately 130% savings in oil consumption were achieved.

In the analyzes made with a rival product with SAE 40 viscosity used in 1 MWM 1.6 MW natural gas engine (6 barrel oil capacity) in the customer company, it was aimed to increase this time by switching to Mobil Pegasus 705 after 2,500 hours of oil changes due to oxidation and water increase in the oil.

As a result of the discussions with the company officials, our Mobil Pegasus 705 product, which has natural gas engine approval, was recommended and the 4,000 hour oil change intervals predicted by the rival company were targeted and approval was received from the authorities to start the field test. Periodic Signum service was used to check the condition of the oil and equipment.

With Mobil Pegasus 705, an average of 130% decrease in oil consumption was achieved in 1 natural gas engine in the company, with 2 oil changes of 5,800 hours each within 2 years.
